Buying a stroller is like buying anything else, we often think the more expensive something costs the better quality it is. We will go over the fact that the costlier strollers aren’t necessarily the better strollers. The key is to choose the stroller that is right for you and fits your lifestyle.

You need to think about how often you plan on using your stroller and where you are using it. If you live in a place like New York City and plan on taking your child with a lot, a durable, high quality, easy to use stroller might be worth a high investment. If you are from a small town in Iowa, where driving is more of the norm, it may be better to invest money into a car seat and buy a stroller you that is economically feasible.

Comparing models does not reflect the quality of strollers, but higher end strollers generally have more special features than the more affordable ones.

The pros of purchasing a higher end stroller:

•They are easier to lift because of their lightweight aluminum frames.

•Generally, they are more durable and may last for more than one child.

•Special features are very prevalent in higher end strollers. Some of the amenities include: plusher seats, adjustable handle bars, expensive fabrics, exchangeable seats and they offer more back support.

•They have better swivel wheels that absorb bumps and give a baby a high performance ride. They make it easier to push through tougher terrain.

Making the Best Stroller Choice
Parents will usually buy more than one stroller over the course of their child’s formative years. You may not want to invest a lot of money in your first stroller and look for a more affordable model to begin with. Inexpensive strollers may be a better choice for airline travel because they generally get banged up in the baggage process. High end strollers may be the choice if you know you will be very active with your child.

Keep a look out for common faults in your strollers, even the highest quality of strollers are not immune to typical flaws including: loose buckles, locking devices, shaky wheels, and bent frames.

Not all strollers are created equally, but they need to have all the safety features and be a comfortable weight so you can lift it in and out of your car. And remember to enjoy your quality time with your newborn baby!
